Travel to South Africa
Visa Requirements
Most international visitors to South Africa require a valid passport and may need a visa depending on their nationality. Welgevonden Game Reserve is located in Limpopo Province, approximately 280 km north of Johannesburg.
Visa-Free Entry
Citizens of many countries — including the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, and most EU member states — do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Always check the latest requirements with the South African Department of Home Affairs or your nearest South African embassy before travelling.
Passport Requirements
- Valid for at least 30 days beyond your intended departure date
- At least two blank pages for entry/exit stamps
- Machine-readable passport recommended
Travelling with Children
South Africa has specific requirements for minors travelling internationally. Parents travelling with children must carry unabridged birth certificates. Contact your travel agent or the South African embassy for current regulations.
