The safari lodge

Your days at Tintswalo Waterberg will be that intoxicating combination of relaxation and excitement. Start at dawn with a guided nature walk in the coolness of the morning then head back for brunch, pool time and a siesta. Then head out for a game drive followed by a boma dinner around the campfire under the Southern Cross.

There are special age-appropriate activities for children and the lodge is fenced. A Beth Din-certified kitchen ensures kosher meals (at an extra cost).

There are five suites that can be booked individually or on an exclusive-use basis.

Each of these suites has one bedroom with twin beds that can be reconfigured into a king-size bed. The en-suite bathrooms have indoor tubs and both indoor and outdoor showers.

This is a two-bedroom unit. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the second has twins. Both en-suite bathrooms have indoor tubs and indoor and outdoor showers.

These are three-bedroom units. One bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom comprising an indoor tub and both indoor and outdoor showers.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third two singles. They share a bathroom that has an indoor tub and an outdoor shower.

Safari experiences

The open safari vehicles are equipped with radios, ponchos, blankets and spotlights for night viewing. Tintswalo Waterberg’s experienced guides are fully accredited and offer interpretive, educational game drives through the reserve.
